Farming is so synonymous with 2020 - full of surprises, changes, hardships, and unexpected amazingness. Here is what we have to say about this.
Growing Practices
Our farm management decisions are made the best we know how on that day. We are constantly learning, incorporating new methods, and working to do right by our land, ecosystem, community, and planet. Over 90% of our inputs and practices comply with regulations surrounding organic certification and we consider ourselves regenerative farmers. However, we do not maintain any organic certifications or other endorsements. We do not guarantee our flowers or farm to be chemical free, made of unicorn farts, or magic in any sort of way. We can't guarantee no spider, aphid, grasshopper, or mouse lives were lost in production of our products. We DO guarantee we will honestly answer any question you have about how we grow and why we grow that way. We DO guarantee our goal is leave this land better than we found it. This is our home, this land and this Earth.
Delivering on What We Promise
Our goal is for you to love and be lifted up by what we grow and the spaces we build. We work tirelessly and focus on every tiny detail so your entire experience is positive. But we can not control freak winds, massive hailstones, tornadoes, pandemics, politics, essential supply chains, and other people. If because of some unforeseen catastrophe we are unable to meet our obligations, we will absolutely work with our customers to settle up. Rescheduled events, refunds, cancellations, and altered plans are possible.
Justice for All
We love the land, the ladybugs, the toads, the birds, the snakes, the pine trees, the creeks, the sky, and the humans. We are all precious in His sight. We will never ask anyone to change who they are or what they believe in order to enjoy our services or spaces. However, we do reserve the right to refuse service to anyone who's behavior demonstrates they don't love and respect the humans, animals, sky, or soil around us. Also, we WILL ask everyone who visits us to release us from liability due to the rural agriculture nature of our business (see above about ladybugs, toads, birds, snakes, etc)...and we may ask you to sign a Release of Liability saying so.
